Introduction
Have you ever felt like you were running on a hamster wheel—working endlessly but never finding peace or joy? That was me. A single mom hustling nonstop, chasing success in all the wrong places. On the outside, I had financial stability, but inside, I felt empty, restless, and far from the life I dreamed of for myself and my children. But then something miraculous happened—I stopped running, surrendered my life to God, and watched Him transform my story. This is how He took me from striving to thriving, from lukewarm faith to a life fully devoted to Him.
My Story: From Striving to Thriving
Twelve years ago, I was a lukewarm Christian and a single mom of three, asking myself if I’d ever make it in life—if I’d ever get to show others how I could help them, if I’d ever provide the way my kids needed and the example they could follow, or if I’d always be stuck in a cycle of struggles.
I sought wealth in the wrong ways—hustling through recruiting in sales, selling life insurance, makeup products, weight loss plans, and investing in various ventures and partnerships with ungodly people. Though I didn’t lack finances, I lived unpeacefully. My constant spending, striving, and scrambling left me empty, searching for contentment and joy. It felt like survival mode 24/7 and 365 days like a zombie.
I wasn’t living right—I was lost in many ways. I remember sitting in my living room late at night after the kids had gone to bed, staring at the stack of bills on the table. Even though I had money, I felt an overwhelming emptiness—a void that no amount of success could fill. I realized I was chasing things that couldn’t give me the peace I desperately needed.
I dreamed of a life where we could live peacefully, spend time with my family, and enjoy life, but my heart wasn’t aligned with God’s will. “For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.” (Matthew 6:21)
The Turning Point: Surrendering to God
Everything changed when I met my husband and, more importantly, when I surrendered my life fully to God. The day I surrendered to God wasn’t dramatic; it was quiet but life-changing. I knelt in prayer and told Him, “Lord, I can’t do this anymore. Take control of my life.” From that moment, He began opening doors I didn’t even know existed and filling my heart with peace that I’d never experienced before.
The Lord completely transformed me, humbling me in every way! 🤲
Living a Life of Humility and Faith
I once lived in a nearly 8,000 sq ft home in the city, but the Lord led us to downsize to a 6,000 sq ft home near farmland. I used to own fancy cars , but now I drive whatever is practical and live debt-free. This transition wasn’t about losing—it was about gaining a lifestyle of humility, simplicity, and peace centered on Him.
I went from chasing partnerships and joining any group that promised wealth, losing millions, and feeling lost, to being blessed tenfold with financial security and, more importantly, spiritual and emotional peace.
I began waking up early to spend time in prayer and reading the Bible. I sought godly mentors and committed to living a life of integrity, even when it meant walking away from opportunities that didn’t align with God’s Word.
Through God’s provision, I no longer desire big houses, fancy cars, or popularity but glorify God, trust His provision, and use the blessings He gives me to help others. Every day, I wake up and thank Him for His faithfulness.
Through years of trusting Him, obeying His Word, and learning stewardship, I’ve seen how His resources never run out. “But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:19). His blessings are far greater than any temporary riches because true wealth is found in Christ alone.
Today, my focus is helping others find hope, trust in God’s provision, and discover the joy of living for His glory. God has taught me that the resources He blesses us with aren’t just for us— they’re meant to bless others, build His Kingdom, and reflect His love. I now use my experiences and biblical knowledge to guide others on their faith journey and encourage them to surrender fully to Him.
Encouragement for You
If you’re in a place of struggle, wondering if you’ll ever make it, I want you to know it’s possible. Not because of your strength, but because “with God all things are possible.” (Matthew 19:26).

Take heart, knowing that no matter how far you feel from where you want to be, God’s faithfulness is greater. Keep trusting, keep praying, and never give up. He is faithful, and His timing is always perfect.
